Born and raised in the south-east of England, I studied French and linguistics at a British university before moving to France. Here, I passed a competitive exam and went on to teach English language and literature for twenty years.
Proficient in both French and English, I have an accredited diploma in technical translation equivalent to a master's degree and am also a certified proofreader and copy editor.
Promoting communication between French and English speakers has always been my main goal, but since settling on Reunion Island I have also supported local projects aimed at protecting the environment.
